You can use Messenger chatbots on your business platforms like websites and apps to communicate with your visitors. It will help you to acquire new leads and turn the visitors to customers with minimum effort.

Adding a chat plugin will help your visitors to have a conversation with your business on the own messaging app platform they have. So they don’t have to come to your website to talk and talk to your business again, they can continue the conversation through the messenger application from their smart devices.

Now, let’s see how we can add this messenger chatbot on your website.

To set up messenger chatbot on your website, you have to go to your Facebook business page.

On your Facebook page, navigate to settings and click “Messaging” tab on the right-side list (highlighted in the image below)

On the messaging column search ” Add messenger to your Website” and click the get started button to proceed further.

You will get a popup for setting up the messenger on your website. On that setup wizard enter your greeting message that will display when a visitor enters your website shown in the preview on the left side of the wizard. Then click “Next” to go to the next step.

Now, you have to give the colour for the chat bubble. Choose any colour you want based on your need or stick with “Blue” colour – the default one.

Then, Facebook will generate a script and you need to paste that script on your website. If you had a WordPress website, you need to download a plugin here and paste that script while configuring the plugin. If you had an HTML website, then you need to insert it directly after the opening <body> tag on each page where you want the plugin to appear.

Then, you will get the messenger chat bubble on the website as we had on the right down the bottom on our website.
